It all looks better now.
Maybe we won’t have to pay for it.
Maybe we could put off doctors.
Your sister’s crying now.
Maybe you should tell your mother,
but she’s making out with her boyfriend under
your soft eye.
Your ears they’re digging you a hole.
It’s not alright
to see your father
tearing up the house with all your favorite pictures,
the walls that broke your heart and fixed you
cold cold cold cold like the motor we bought you.
So drive that thing away
from your father
you’re tearing up the coast
the road will bend your shape
you’re leaving now a bloody trail
that clings hard hard hard hard to the side of your body
hard hard hard hard like the day that you met her
So parking lot it is,
cuz we’re getting kinda sick of bitches,
and my friends don’t really know I’m out here under
your soft eye.
DOTB such a unique album coming from Nothing which is crazy to believe since everyone of their songs/albums is absolutely memorable and thought out hollowedworship
An easy-to-love combination of emo and jangle pop, the first full album from Spirit Night in eight years feels bathed in a golden glow. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 8, 2023
Melodic post-grunge that eschews all of the negative connotations of that phrase and embraces all the positives: huge hooks, huge-r riffs. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 8, 2023
The title track pulled me into Slow Crush's orbit, but Tremble held me there - alongside Lull from the Hush LP and the whole of Seasurfer's Dive In, it can send me into an altered state of consciousness. The album vibrates with hints and nudges, from Slowdive twangs to a Corgan-esque chord shift, but Slow Crush are their own sound - thick, dark melodic, etherealistic soundscapes with Isa Holliday's vocals both binding the music and rising above it. One of the best bands in years. sentientpoet
